Mangalore, July 5, 2026: Gladsom Home joyfully welcomed seven new candidates for the Diocese of Manglore into its formation community, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their vocational journey. The day was filled with prayer, fellowship, and hope as the community gathered to receive the new brothers.

The programme commenced with a prayer service led by Very Rev. Dr. Rajesh Rosario, Rector of St. Joseph’s Inter-Diocesan Seminary, Mangalore. The liturgy was conducted by Fr. Vincent D’Souza, Spiritual Director of Gladsom Home, inviting everyone to seek God’s guidance and blessings for the candidates as they begin their formation.

Following the prayer service, a welcome gathering was held. Rev. Fr. Antony Clany D’Souza, Rector of Gladsom Home, warmly welcomed everyone and shared the vision and legacy of the formation house. The event was enriched by the presence of Fr. Kevin D’Souza, Rector of Kripa Sadhan Formation House, Fr. Francis D’Souza, and the parents of the newly admitted candidates, whose presence added warmth and encouragement to the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Very Rev. Dr. Rajesh Rosario reminded the candidates that formation is not merely about academic preparation but about becoming men of character, discipline, and deep faith. He encouraged them to make the best use of their time at Gladsom Home, allowing the formation process to shape them into compassionate and responsible ministers capable of serving people from all walks of life.

The programme was carefully coordinated by the Rector, the students, and Regent Br. Austin Vas, while Br. Deyon Johan Mascarenhas served as the master of ceremonies.

Mangalore, July 12, 2026: Gladsom home welcomed a new candidate for the Diocese of Udupi. Fr Vincent Dsouza, Spiritual Director of the house led the prayer service and Fr Antony Clany Dsouza welcomed the new candidate to the formation house. Rev. Fr. John Baptist Moras was present during this prayer service.
