June 1, 2025 – Mangalore: Gladsom Home rejoiced and warmly welcomed Br Aashton D’Souza as the new Regent for the academic year 2025–2026. The occasion was marked by a simple yet meaningful welcome ceremony, attended by the Rector, staff, and all the brothers of the house.
The programme began with a prayer service led by Rev. Fr Antony Clany D’Souza, Rector of Gladsom Home. In his welcome address, Fr Rector introduced Br Aashton to the community and spoke about the spirit and purpose of the formation house.
Thereafter, Br Aashton D’Souza expressed his joy in returning to Gladsom Home, where he had once lived as a Minor Seminarian. He conveyed his gratitude for the warm reception and thanked everyone for the opportunity to serve once again in the house. His parents and family members were also present for the occasion, adding to the joy of the event.
Br Aashton D’Souza hails from the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Nakre, in the Diocese of Udupi. He recently completed his Philosophy studies at St Joseph Inter-Diocesan Seminary, Jeppu, Mangalore.
The Gladsom community extends its heartfelt wishes and prayers to Br Aashton for a fruitful and grace-filled ministry during his regency year.
